Sabian – The Sound of 2014

SABIAN was founded in 1981, when Robert Zildjian – one of the world’s great names in cymbal making came to the conclusion that drummers needed a better choice of cymbals. Unsatisfied with the quality, the sound and the very relevance of the cymbals being manufactured at the time, he opened SABIAN in the small eastern Canadian village of Meductic, New Brunswick.
Musikmesse 2014 – KAT Percussion
Kat Percussion began as a small company back in 1985. Owner Bill Katoski and his partner Mario DeCiutiis had a vision to create the best and most innovative electronic drum products the world had ever seen. That goal to make professional e-drum products at the highest level of playability and performance is still alive and well today. When Bill sold the company to Mario in the early 90’s the company was renamed Alternate Mode. Mario DeCiutiis, known for his creative thinking and boundless energy is still the chief innovator at Alternate Mode. Musikmesse 2014 Dixon Hardware
Dixon Drums nasce in Germania nel 1979 come azienda produttrice di hardware dedicato agli strumenti a percussione. Oggi, 35 anni dopo, vantan una rappresentanza in Europa, Asia e, più recentemente, negli Stati Uniti, con la produzione di diverse linee di prodotti distribuite in ciascun mercato internazionale. Dixon ha vinto il “Best in Show” al Winter NAMM 2008 per la categoria Best New Product Line. Nel 2008 ci fu il lancio di tre linee di prodotti made in USA che prevedeva la produzione di solo kit hardware: Chaos, Demon e Outlaw. La linea di prodotti internazionale comprende anche The Artisan ed i kit Predator.

Musikmesse 2014 – Gretsch Renown
Già introdotta nel 2002, la Gretsch Renown è divenuta presto uno standard tra i batteristi di tutto il mondo. Nel 2013 tutta la linea è stata ridisegnata con 4 nuove configurazioni e 4 nuovi colori.
