Ciao a tutti e ben tornati su www.planet-drum.com. Recentemente ho avuto modo di scrivere diversi articoli per conto della rivista grazie ad una serie di prodotti messi a disposizione da alcune aziende. Quest’oggi ho tra le mani uno di quei prodotti definiti accessori per un batterista ma che spesso fanno la differenza tra una session rilassante ed una stressante. Mi viene in mente l’ansia che molti batteristi hanno quando, per suonare un live show in qualche locale, devono organizzare un vero e proprio trasloco. E quindi tra aste, tamburi, piatti, laptop, mixer, click, ecc., si ha il terrore di dimenticare, perdere o rompere strumenti.

The book documents every rhythmical combination possible using the seven quarter- or eighth-note placements within an eighth-note triplet, while keeping the traditional swing ride pattern with the lead hand. Seven different “chunks,” representing the different permutations of the triplet, are presented for practice and memorization, and then applied to other practice approaches.

La rassegna Scudere Riunite, tenutasi per il secondo anno consecutivo presso L’Alchemica Music Club, è stato un successo prevedibile grazie alla elevata qualità dei partecipanti, della struttura e di tutto il concept che gira intorno al progetto Scuderie Capitani.
Questo primo video introduttivo della serie, che purtroppo per motivi logistici non può mostrare tutti gli eventi che si sono svolti nei due giorni di festa, riprende solo alcuni dei partecipanti, ma mostra sufficientemente la qualità, l’atmosfera che si respirava e la grossa mole di lavoro che c’è stata dietro all’organizzazione infallibile di Michele Panepinto.
