Gretsch Snare Drums 2014
Gretsch presented many new products at this Musikmesse 2014. Among the many drums kits and new series we found some interesting snare drums such as the Classic Plus Maple
The Classic Plus Maple snare drum has 10 single tube lugs per head which measures 14 x 6”. This drum has many similar features of its brass sibling, including a key holder hole in shell and an impressive Millennium Maple Gloss Lacquer finish. It is characterized by the slightly rounded bearing edges and a very gradual and shallow snare bed. The heads are Gretsch Permatones.
Deeper in tone than the shallower version, the die-cast hoops dry the sound out a bit making it very cutting and powerful. Also available in a 14 x 5 ½ version
