La Mapex Drum Company annuncia il secondo drum set Meridian Black Limited Edition denominato “Obsidian”. Questo drum kit, appositamente creato, sarà disponibile esclusivamente attraverso i rivenditori autorizzati Mapex in tutto il mondo.
The Mapex Drum Company announced the 2nd Meridian Black Limited Edition drum kit called “Obsidian”. This specially designed drum kit will be available exclusively through authorized Mapex dealers worldwide.
Il Meridian Black Obsidian kit è il secondo di una serie di kit “Player Designed”, dei kit disegnati appositamente con le caratteristiche idonee a soddisfare le esigenze del batterista rock moderno. Il kit Obsidian sarà prodotto in edizione limitata, speciale nella sua configurazione specifica e unico nel suo look. Una volta terminato non verrà riprodotto. Lo speciale fusto ibrido composto da betulla e acero offre toni bassi e scuri, con un attacco equilibrato. L’interno dei fusti presentano una nuova finitura nera che esalta la risonanza e la proiezione. La cassa 24″x14″ rilascia un’istantanea nota bassa che completa l’attacco dei tom. Il kit è composto da un rack tom da 12″x08″ e un floor tom da 16″x16″, tutto ciò permette un facile posizionamento del piatto ride per una performance confortevole. Un rullante 14″x07″ completa il kit come add-on per i batteristi che necessitano di elementi essenziali per un vero rock.
I fusti vengono avvolti da una finitura “volcanic glass sparkle” e sono dotati di hardware cromato, e da pelli Remo serie “coated single ply UX”.
Questo drum kit di 3 pezzi è tutto ciò di cui un batterista deve essere dotato per farsi sentire forte e chiaro.

The Mapex Drum Company announced the 2nd Meridian Black Limited Edition drum kit called “Obsidian”. This specially designed drum kit will be available exclusively through authorized Mapex dealers worldwide.
The Meridian Black Obsidian kit is the second in a series of “Player Designed” kits with features directly filling the needs of the modern rock drummer. The Obsidian kit will be a limited edition, specific in its configuration, and very unique in its look. Once they are sold out, they will not be reproduced.
The rich Birch/Maple hybrid shells crank out low and dark tones with a balanced attack. The inside of the shells feature a new Black finish that enhances resonance and projection. The 24″x14″ Bass drum delivers immediate massive low end that compliments the full attack of the toms. The kit boasts one 12″x08″ rack tom, and a 16″x16″ floor tom, so the player can bring in their ride cymbal close for a comfortable performance. A 14″x 07″ snare is also available as an add-on for players needing the true rock essentials.
The shells come wrapped in a deep volcanic glass sparkle, are fitted with chrome hardware, and are topped with Remo coated single ply UX drumheads. This 3-piece kit is all a player needs to be heard loud and clear.
