At NAMM show 2017, among Ludwig’s new Standard Maple series are two limited edition snare drums: the Mojave Cherry and Black Flame, available in 14” x 8” and 14” x 5″ sizes. 7-Ply maple shells are appointed with Classic Bowtie lugs and the new P-85AC throw-off/butt, offering legendary USA-made Ludwig tone at an affordable price. The Mojave Cherry and Black Flame snares will be packing all the handmade, top-end features of the Classic Maple series in two ‘stunning new finishes’.
The Ludwig Black Beauty will now be available in an 8” deep drum: ‘bringing power and ferocity to the sound that has already made history’ says UK distributor Active Music Distribution. Also about to be revealed is an 8” deep version of Ludwig’s recent addition to the family, the Copper Phonic.
