Today, Pearl celebrates the return of the original seamless Acrylic drum shell with new Crystal Beat Acrylic drum sets and component drums. The original Crystal Beat kits came to the USA when I first joined the Pearl team in ‘73,” says Ron Read, Pearl Corporation’s VP of Operations. “After a nearly 35 year hiatus, it’s exciting to see a new Crystal Beat kit surpass the legacy these kits left behind.”
Not your typical transparent trap set, new Crystal Beat’s upgraded 7mm seamless Acrylic shell comes standard in four stock configurations starting at under €1189 RRP. Individual components are also available from 8” to 22” in UltraClear, Ruby Red, and Tangerine Glass transparent finishes for custom configuration.
Fortified for today’s power player, Pearl’s new drums will begin shipping to EU dealers starting in early 2015.
