His current set up includes 18″ AA Sick Hats, 19″ Artisan Crash, 12″ AAX O-Zone Splash over a 10″ AA Mini Holy China stack, 22″ HH Liquid Ride Brilliant or Artisan Light Ride, 20″ AAX Aero Crash and a 20″ HHX Evolution O-Zone Crash.
SABIAN Director of Artist Relations Chris Stankee says, “I have really enjoyed helping Anderson find his sound. We’re lucky enough to create cymbals for so many great drummers, but it’s a unique experience doing that for a frontman who wrote the music. Knowing his attention is on every aspect of the sound in the mix and where the cymbal tones have to fit in. Where the cymbals reside right next to the vocal mic there is no way to avoid bleed and so the darker, hot tones were his preference. We’re very happy to have Anderson as a SABIAN endorser and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!”
