In questo sesto appuntamento della mia rubrica sulle percussioni, ospitata sulla rivista Planet Drum, visiterò un ulteriore e diversa applicazione del Manoteo. L’ho chiamata “Manoteo con Ostinato ritmico 2” perchè ho fatto in modo di applicare la tecnica del Manoteo ad un ostinato ritmico ancora diverso rispetto a quelli già trattati nelle precedenti lezioni.

In questo articolo vorrei parlare un po´ di un argomento a mio avviso molto affascinante e allo stesso tempo indispensabile ai batteristi: la poliritmia. Intendiamo per poliritmia un sovrapporsi di almeno 2 ritmi eseguiti allo stesso tempo, il che significa che per noi batteristi è possibile utilizzare 2 arti per suonare un ritmo e allo stesso tempo altri 2 per eseguirne un altro. Questo concetto della poliritmia ci apre le porte verso un mondo infinito di possibili combinazioni poliritmiche e questo in qualsiasi stile musicale come anche per diversi livelli di difficoltà.
