introduce new drummer Atte Palokangas while ready for the European tour with RHAPSODY next week

Up and coming metallers BEAST IN BLACK are about to perform their very first headline shows this weekend – and both of them are already sold out! But these concerts are just the beginning of a promising 2018 for the band, featuring ex-BATTLE BEAST guitarist Anton Kabanen and their new permanent drummer Atte Palokangas. On Saturday, February 17th, the band will kick off their EU run with Italian symphonic metal legends RHAPSODY, before heading to Japan and playing at several European summer festivals.

Anche quest’anno si è svolta a Roma il 29-10-2017 la Fiera musicale “Musica expo” con diversi spazi destinati all’esposizione e alle prove di numerosi strumenti musicali, la presenza dei maggiori marchi al mondo tra cui Yamaha, Ludwig, Vic Firth, Pearl, Roland e tanti altri, ha permesso di far provare a tutti gli ospiti della Fiera i nuovi e i vecchi prodotti del mercato.Numerose sono state le esibizioni e le clinic svolte su i diversi palchi della fiera che hanno visto partecipi numerosi artisti e ci ha fatto molto piacere vedere l’esibizione di una nostra vecchia conoscenza, Livio Campus batterista sardo che nel 2011 ha partecipato al nostro concorso World Drum Contest 2011 vincendo un endorsement completo con la Vic Firth offerto dalla ditta Aramini strumenti musicali.

Marco Primavera – Thegiornalisti

Marco Primavera fonda, insieme a Tommaso Paradiso I Thegiornalisti, una band indie-pop romana, che esordisce nel 2011 l’album “Vol 1“. Nel 2012 pubblicano il secondo disco “Vecchio” registrato a Londra, negli studi di Abbey Road, ma è il 2014 l’anno fortunato, che li vede primeggiare con il terzo album “Fuoricampo”. Con “Completamente Sold Out” pubblicato il 21 ottobre 2016, la band consolida la sua popolarità e Marco ci racconta un come è andata.

Thomas is not only a great progressive rock/ heavy metal/ fusion drummer but he is also extremely good in other styles like jazz and funk. He loves to groove, and it has been his main focus throughout his drumming career. Being well versed in any style of music and knowing how to read music very well he has added new sets of abilities to be among the best drummers. He writes music, produces music, and plays other instruments (guitar, bass guitar, piano, and he even sings). He knows about electronics, about sequencing, and even other percussion instruments. In una di queste abbiamo avuto modo di incontrare una parte della band di Vasco Rossi e scambiare due simpatiche chiacchiere con loro. Il risultato è stata una esilarante ma interessante intervista a Claudio Golinelli (basso), Stef Burns (chitarra) e Will Hunt (batteria) che, oltre che affrontare discorsi personali e di palco, ci hanno illustrato anche il loro nuovo e prossimo Power Trio Tour.
