Randy Black will officially debut as the new drummer for DESTRUCTION @ WACKEN OPEN AIR
German thrash metal legends DESTRUCTION are pleased to officially welcome Randy Black (Annihilator, Primal Fear) into the fold, after a gruelling probation that involved an extensive tour and many shows around the globe.
Randy will make his official debut as the band’s new drummer at the Wacken-Open-Air on August 3rd, 2018.

Atte Palokangas, drummer of Thunderstone, Agonizer, Wreck On, Among The Prey, Frustrated Bastards is now in tour with the BEAST IN BLACK as their new permanent drummer and worthy successor for former drummer Sami Hänninen who left the band recently. Planet Drum met him during the concert in Rome, Italy.
Anche quest’anno si è svolta a Roma il 29-10-2017 la Fiera musicale “Musica expo” con diversi spazi destinati all’esposizione e alle prove di numerosi strumenti musicali, la presenza dei maggiori marchi al mondo tra cui Yamaha, Ludwig, Vic Firth, Pearl, Roland e tanti altri, ha permesso di far provare a tutti gli ospiti della Fiera i nuovi e i vecchi prodotti del mercato.Numerose sono state le esibizioni e le clinic svolte su i diversi palchi della fiera che hanno visto partecipi numerosi artisti e ci ha fatto molto piacere vedere l’esibizione di una nostra vecchia conoscenza, Livio Campus batterista sardo che nel 2011 ha partecipato al nostro concorso World Drum Contest 2011 vincendo un endorsement completo con la Vic Firth offerto dalla ditta Aramini strumenti musicali.
William Martin “Will” Hunt has played for many bands, including Evanescence, Skrape, Dark New Day, Black Label Society, and Device, and as a touring member for Staind.In Italy he is well known for playing with the top artist Vasco Rossi. Planet Drum has interviewed Will Hunt during his Italian Clinic/Concert Tour in the beautiful city of Rome.
Gregg Bissonette has become known as one of the most versatile drummers in the business, his broad experience ranging from big band, blues, and rock, to Latin, fusion, and much more. Gregg’s warm, easy-going down-to-earth manner is refreshing from one of the top drummers in the world.
RICK LATHAM is known as one of the music industry’s most in demand studio and touring drummers today, an exciting solo artist, acclaimed composer, globally renowned author and drumming guru. At just 25 years of age, it was the success of his ground breaking drum text, ADVANCED FUNK STUDIES, that launched him into the international percussion spotlight, but is has been his expertise as a versatile performer that has made him one of contemporary drummings’ most respected players. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina and now living in Los Angeles, Rick is currently the drummer with Grammy Award winning artist JUICE NEWTON as well as the founder and driving force of his own L.A. Thomas Lang is an Austrian drummer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and record producer. He is the founding member of the Los Angeles-based progressive/avant garde metal band, stOrk, and is known for his international session work on a wide variety of genres such as rock, pop, jazz, and heavy metal, with artists such as Robert Fripp,Peter Gabriel, Robbie Williams, and Sugababes, among many others.
Karl Brazil is undoubtly one of the most in demand drummers in the UK. He has played with lots of great artists such as James Blunt, Robbie Williams, Feeder, Leona Lewis, Natalie Imbruglia, Girls Aloud, Elton John, Westlife, Take That, Jason Mraz, Mika and James Morrison, to name just a few of them.
