Drum Workshop Inc. (DW) and Latin Percussion (LP) are delighted to announce the “DW & LP Road Trip Tour” across Central and South America this summer. The shows will feature Fausto Cuevas and Stephen Perkins who will each give solo performances before coming together to close the show with a dynamic drumming duet. The tour is additionally sponsored by Zildjian, Remo and Pro-Mark.

Drum Workshop Inc.’s newly created electronic drum brand DWe™ debuts at the 2018 Frankfurt Musikmesse, it was announced today. Working in conjunction with longtime partner GEWA Music, all-new DWe™ trigger shells, hardware and rack systems represent Drum Workshop’s entry into the electronic drum arena and will be featured alongside GEWA’s highly anticipated G9 Drummer’s Workstation, electronic pads and cymbals. This marks the first-ever product collaboration between the California-based manufacturer and the German musical instrument manufacturer and distributor.

Handcrafted in DW’s California Custom Shop located in Oxnard, CA, these exceptional drums feature a core of incredibly resonant Australian Blackwood with an outer layer of highly figured Blackheart Sassafras. Finished in a Quick Candy Black Burst to Natural Lacquer which is perfectly complemented by DW black nickel hardware, these distinctive drums are completed with a specialty “Limited Edition DW Pure Tasmanian Timber” badge.
