All camp activities will be held at the beautiful and historic Chateau St. Hubert. Built in 1876, this stunning royal residence was the formal hunting chateau of King Leopold II of Belgium.
All guest rooms are shared 2 or 4-bed rooms. Please contact the Chateau directly if you prefer not to share a room or if you are bringing a partner/spouse. Additional guest room fees will apply for additional in-room guests.
The Chateau is in a very quiet village but there are shops and supermarkets a short drive from the Chateau. Conveniently situated this camp location is only 40 Minutes from Aachen (GER), 1 hour from Cologne (GER), 40 minutes from Maastricht (NL), and 90 minutes from Brussels/BEL.
The hotel is also less than 2 hours by train or car from Amsterdam, Cologne, Duesseldorf or Brussels international airports which are served by all major domestic and international carriers and all major rental car companies.
The camp price is 600 Euros for the 3 full days of tuition and does not include accommodation. There will be 4 hours of lessons in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon.
In the evenings there will be plenty of time to get social with the other campers and talk and play more drums!
The Bed and Breakfast is 70 Euros per night and includes breakfast, catered lunch and dinner.

Camp Schedule:
Friday – Sunday: Camp runs daily from 9:00 – 6:00 with a 1.5 hour lunch break. Camp curriculum is customized to the individual group and no two camps are alike. Thomas will work with students on the first day to assess individual needs and abilities and specific requests for topics to cover.

– What gear do I need & what is provided?
You will need to bring your own sticks, throne, practice kit & double pedal. If you need to rent or would like to purchase a practice kit, double pedal or throne from us, we have very affordable rates. If you have any questions about gear please email us at info@thomaslangdrumcamp.com
– What skill level is required to attend?
Classes and curriculum are developed to accommodate all ranges of playing. All classes are optional and open to everyone. You may attend as many or as few of the sessions and activities as you wish.
– Is there an age requirement?
No. However, minors who attend the camp only and do not stay in the hotel will be required to provide a consent form from a legal guardian. Minors who would like to attend the camp + hotel option must be accompanied by a legal guardian. – If I want to bring my spouse but they don’t want to attend classes, may I?? But of course! In order to bring a non-participant, you don’t need to pay a separate fee unless you need an extra hotel room. If you’re bringing the whole family, let us know and we can work with you to get you the best hotel rates!
– Face time: How much will there be?
LOTS! Thomas is with you from 9:00 – 6:00 daily. You will have plenty of time to ask questions, get private lessons, photographs and autographs and you can ask him to specifically cover topics that YOU are interested in covering at the camp.
– What about event cancellation?
MUSO Entertainment/TLDBC reserve the right to cancel the event at any time at our discretion if deemed necessary due to a lack of participation or any other reason. If the event is canceled, all fees collected by MUSO Entertainment/TLDBC will be reimbursed in full within 72 hours of event cancellation. MUSO Entertainment/TLDBC is not responsible for reimbursing any travel fees, fees for accommodations not provided by MUSO Entertainment/TLDBC, or other expenses. We recommend in any case that you purchase travel insurance.
-Can I take photos, video or audio recordings?
Yes. Although, each counselor may have their own policies regarding filming and and you will be required to sign a waiver stating all recordings, footage and/or photos will be used strictly for personal use and not commercially. Remember, YOU paid to be at the camp. Why would you give it to somebody else for free?
Registration, Payment and Cancellation Terms and Conditions
Your decision to register for The Thomas Lang Big Drum Bonanza constitutes your acknowledgment of and consent to all of the Registration, Payment and Cancellation terms and conditions listed below:
Registration and Payments:
All rates are per person
A 8.25% California State Tax may be applied to your balance if applicable.
Should you cancel for any reason, your fees will be refunded less $250.00 cancellation fee.
All rental fees are payable to MUSO Entertainment prior to the start of each camp.
No refunds for any portion of any fees will be issued after the start of the camp. No partial refunds will be refunded for camp activities missed.
Cancellations received fewer than 14 days prior to the start of any TLDBC/MUSO Entertainment event will be issued a rain check for a future TLDBC event of equal or lesser value. No other refunds or credits will be issued.
All TLDBC attendees are responsible for any rental gear provided and TLDBC reserves the right to charge students for any damaged or missing equipment.
Once a TLDBC reservation is placed, the following terms apply:
Due to the nature of our events and strict cancellation policies, MUSO Entertainment/TLDBC/Big Drum Bonanza strongly suggests purchasing travel insurance.
Special Guests or curriculum schedule is subject to change: MUSO Entertainment/TLDBC/Big Drum Bonanza reserves the right to offer qualified substitute faculty and entertainment at our discretion in the event of the inability of a faculty member to attend, or other special circumstances, such as an emergency, illness, etc. If any such changes are made, MUSO Entertainment/TLDBC/Big Drum Bonanza will make reasonable efforts to notify registrants by updating our website with the most up-to-date information. Attendees are still responsible for the full amount of their registration fee.
Event Cancellation: MUSO Entertainment/TLDBC/Big Drum Bonanza reserves the right to cancel the event at any time at our discretion if deemed necessary due to a lack of participation or any other reason. Any registration cancellations must be made 30-days in advance of the camp start date to receive tuition balance refunds. All other cancellations will receive rain checks for future TLDBC camp registration of their choice. No camp refunds, rain checks will be issued after the camp start date. Any unused portion of camp tuition is non-refundable.
